The Perioperative Care-Prehabilitation group monthly webinar

In this month’s webinar you will hear about prehabilitation work happening in Wales. 

You’ll learn about:

• The importance of bringing prehab forward to primary care
• The different opportunities for prehab as patients move along the pathway
• Videos for patients on the Urgent Suspected Cancer (USC) pathway
• Webinars for patients on the USC pathway
• Pharmacist led prehab clinics at the Rapid Diagnostic Centre
• ‘Can you do one thing’ campaign

Anybody working in or who has an interest in prehabilitation.

The format of the event will include: 

• A presentation
• Questions and Answers

This month’s session will be facilitated by Macmillan Cancer Support in collaboration with The Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC) & Wessex Cancer Alliance.

Attendees can leave their cameras off if they prefer and the recording will be available online within 10 working days for those that can’t attend.

The Perioperative Care-Prehabilitation group is hosted by Macmillan Cancer Support and the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC), a partnership between health charities, professional organisations, patient organisations and several leading Royal Colleges. 

The focus of this group is on prehabilitation and rehabilitation, specifically supporting and optimising peoples’ physical and mental health in advance of, during and beyond treatment for cancer and other long-term conditions.
