Support to publish

We can cover the costs for Q members to publish eligible work in the BMJ Open Quality open access journal. Check the criteria and apply.

Sharing insight and ideas widely is crucial for effective improvement. We can cover the costs for members to publish in the BMJ Open Quality open access journal. Here we outline the criteria for eligible articles and how to apply for the funding.

Publishing in a peer-reviewed journal is a recognised way to share your work with the improvement community and beyond. It’s also a great way to build your profile and advance your career.

We can support Q members to publish eligible improvement work in the BMJ Open Quality open access journal by covering publication costs.

Enquire about accessing funding

You must be a Q member for us to consider paying for you to publish your work.

To apply, email q@thenhsalliance.org with an outline of the article you plan to submit to the BMJ Open Quality.

We will get back to you within two weeks, with a verification code for you to enter during the submission process.
