AHP QI Network Masterclass: Appreciative Inquiry

Join the AHP QI network to hear about the Appreciative Inquiry approach to improvement and how it works from people’s strengths and positive experiences, co-creating a future based on collaboration and open dialogue. 

Guest presenter Katy Fisher, Leader in patient safety and registered nurse and Kayleigh Barnett, Head of Continuous Improvement, Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust both have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this field. Kayleigh has authored the book ​‘Appreciating Health and Care: A practical appreciative inquiry resource for the health and social care sector’ and they both host the podcast Caring Corner.

The session objectives are to better understand:

• What Appreciative Inquiry is and how we are using it already.
• Appreciative Inquiry in action demonstrating successes and challenges.
• Practical steps working with an asset-based mindset.
• The impact for our people.
• To answer questions and connect as a group, sharing experiences.

This masterclass is aimed at North West AHP quality improvement enthusiasts’ and our wider AHPQI national network – all are welcome!
