Join the Perioperative Care-Prehabilitation group at their monthly webinar, with April’s guest speaker Aidan Innes, Head of Research & Outcomes at Nuffield Health.
Aidan will share more on the ‘Cancer Activity Programme; moving with and beyond cancer’ and will present the following:
- An overview of Nuffield Health’s charitable purpose and free community rehabilitation programmes.
- An overview of the STAMINA trial and the need for embedding exercise within the existing cancer care pathway.
- An overview of the Cancer Activity Programme.
There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A.

The Perioperative Care-Prehabilitation group is hosted by Macmillan Cancer Support and the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC), a partnership between health charities, professional organisations, patient organisations and several leading Royal Colleges. The focus of this group is on prehabilitation and rehabilitation, specifically supporting and optimising peoples’ physical and mental health in advance of, during and beyond treatment for cancer and other long-term conditions.
