About this session

What does it mean to the person who shares their experience of healthcare? How does it feel to share personal details with healthcare professionals and health systems? What is the impact of sharing your story on how you move forward with your care?

Our June session will welcome Sara Turle, a Patient Partner involved in many projects and organisations across health and care. Through a series of digital stories, Sara will share her experiences across 14 years of breast and lung cancer care and also share her amazing journey of being a Patient Partner working on improvement projects.

It’s a personal perspective that explores not only the healthcare experience but also looks at the personal impacts of sharing a story and what that means and how that shapes the approaches to ongoing care.

Join us to hear powerful stories, gain insights, and have the opportunity to ask questions about story-sharing.

This session is hosted by the Impact and power of storytelling in health online group
