Skills for collaborative change
Our skills map is practical tool which sets out the skills and attitudes needed for collaborative and creative problem-solving. Join us on 11 November to explore how it could help you.
About this workshop
Collaboration involves navigating new spaces, structures and people. This often comes with systemic, organisational and individual barriers in our way. But collaboration is, more than ever, what’s needed to deliver consistently high-quality health and care services.
The skills required for effective collaboration are wide-reaching and require attention and practice. Our skills map and user guide are designed to support individuals and teams in having meaningful conversations about what it takes to collaborate well.
At this workshop we will be encouraging teams to explore how to use those skills in practice.
What you’ll learn
At this workshop, we will:
- Introduce you to ‘Skills for collaborative change’ and the user guide
- Explore how it can support you in your improvement work
- Support individual reflection to identify your strengths or development areas
- Share ideas on how to use the skills map in your teams to identify collective strengths and potential improvements
Who should attend
The skills map, guide and this workshop will be useful for anyone looking to explore and develop skills for collaboration.
