How can we better improve across boundaries? Co-design of the Systems QI Practitioner Programme
Join this Q Exchange 6 project webinar to learn more from the team working on the Systems QI Practitioner Programme.
About this session
Working across boundaries and navigating complex systems has become a vital aspect of delivering effective health and care services in the UK and Ireland. As improvement practitioners, it’s essential that we evolve to meet these challenges.
In response, Q members from across the UK and Ireland are collaboratively designing a Systems QI Practitioner Programme. This initiative aims to equip health and care organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to drive improvements that span organisational and systemic boundaries.
Their vision is to provide a freely accessible, comprehensive educational programme—including slide decks, handbooks, guidance, activities, and more. These resources will empower organisations and systems to develop their quality improvement (QI) and systems thinking capabilities, wherever they are.
The co-design process is progressing rapidly, and the team need your insights to shape the next phase. They’ve developed a first draft outlining the programme’s aims, outcomes, structure, and content, and are eager to gather your feedback.
Join the team on Wednesday 5 February to review the programme’s current iteration, share your perspectives, and contribute to this exciting initiative. Together, we can create a resource that drives meaningful change across health and care systems.
Hosts
Hi I’m Sid. I work in quality improvement in the NHS with a lot of interest in systems thinking in QI, coaching improvement and patient safety improvement. I’ve worked in the acute and community setting and now work in a national role with NHS Elect.
I convene the “coaching improvement” and “PSIRF” groups for our community.
