About this session
Have you ever noticed how a single interrupted sentence or a fleeting dismissive glance can completely change the energy in a room? When it comes to psychological safety, it isn’t the grand, sweeping company policies that make or break a team’s culture – it’s the micro-behaviours.
Join us for our next Curiosity Collective session, “The Small Hinges that Swing Big Doors,” as we dive into the tiny, everyday interactions that silently dictate whether our colleagues feel safe to take risks, share ideas, or speak up.
Working together, we’ll build on our collective experiences and skills and emerge with practical tips and solutions to help us deliver positive micro-behaviours, and squash those negative ones flat! Grab your lunch, bring an open mind, and join us on Tuesday 14 April 2026, from 12:00 to 12:45.

The Joy in Work Curiosity Collective
Do you find implementing Joy in Work a challenge? Are you unsure where to start? Or, have you implemented Joy in Work for your team already and want to share your experiences? If so, the Joy in Work Curiosity Collective is for you!
Join Julia Wood and John Rouse for monthly virtual 45 minute discussions aimed at navigating the challenges of implementing and sustaining Joy in Work.
During each session we’ll leverage our collective brain power to tackle complex issues and questions surrounding Joy in Work. These discussions could make all the difference between implementing and sustaining a successful Joy in Work project and one which leaves you wondering where things went wrong.
In this session, you will guide the selection of topics which means that the content is tailored to your challenges and draws upon your experiences.
