Supporting local learning through the AHSN network

The pandemic response saw a valuable increase in collaborative learning between teams, organisations, and sectors. 

Q wants to play a part in maintaining the momentum behind this way of working, supporting local teams to embed a systemic, collaborative approach to learning. 

To this end, we have asked Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) to apply for funding for infrastructure and activities that provide ongoing connecting and learning across boundaries in each area. 

The activities funded through the AHSNs will provide opportunities for members and beyond to learn, connect and develop. 

As the programme progresses, we will provide information about the activities and opportunities for members to get involved with this work. 

This could include events that bring together Q members to contribute to local work and to learn from each other to tackle the challenges being worked on locally. 

Or, it could include development work to build the skills and infrastructure needed for collaborative learning that helps make the most of Q and Q members, alongside other work underway within the AHSN regions.
